About

Lauren Stephens Branson, an industry veteran with a deep passion for storytelling, founded Little Birdie PR in the fall of 2024. Though she was born in Louisiana, Lauren was raised in Nashville and has spent most of her life there. (She still misses Opryland).

Lauren’s connection to music began early. As a child, she would ride her purple Huffy bike up and down her dead-end street, listening to tapes of Bob Dylan that her mother had ripped from her college vinyl collection. Obsessed with the lyrics to “Masters of War,” she spent hours de-coding every word of Dylan's poetry, a fascination that fueled her lifelong love of music and storytelling. At age 13, Lauren met Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers backstage at Nashville’s Starwood Amphitheatre, confirming she wanted a life and career in the music business.

Fast-forward to now: Lauren has two decades of industry experience, having worked with major and indie record labels and as the Senior Director of Media Relations at BMI for nine years. Throughout her extensive career, her unwavering passion for helping artists and songwriters tell their stories has remained at the core of everything she does.

In 2019, Lauren faced an unexpected cancer diagnosis, a challenge that redefined her perspective on life and storytelling. Her journey as a survivor serves as a powerful reminder that the stories we share—whether personal or professional—connect us and give meaning to our lives.

With Little Birdie, Lauren’s mission is clear: to empower others to tell their stories in the most authentic, impactful, and unforgettable way possible.

Lauren lives just outside Nashville with her husband (a therapist), her two children, who know all the words to “Tweeter and the Monkey Man,” and a polite dog named Fern.
